Hi guys,
Need some advice on whether to report a bug or if my system is just broken. On a fully ~amd64 system:
Code:
[ebuild     U  ] app-office/libreoffice-3.6.0.4 [3.5.5.3] USE="branding cups dbus gstreamer java jemalloc kde opengl svg xmlsec (-aqua) -binfilter -binfilterdebug -eds -gnome -graphite -gtk -mysql -odk -postgres -test -vba -webdav" LIBREOFFICE_EXTENSIONS="pdfimport presenter-console presenter-minimizer -nlpsolver -scripting-beanshell -scripting-javascript -wiki-publisher"

The emerge fails as follows:
Code:
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Oh dear - something failed during the build - sorry !
For more help with debugging build errors, please see the section in:
            http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Development

  internal build errors:

ERROR: error 512 occurred while making /var/tmp/portage/app-office/libreoffice-3.6.0.4/work/libreoffice-core-3.6.0.4/tail_build/prj

it seems that the error is inside 'tail_build', please re-run build
inside this module to isolate the error and/or test your fix:

build_error.log should contain the captured output of the failed module(s)

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

When I do as asked, I am presented with a segmentation fault:
Code:
# cd /var/tmp/portage/app-office/libreoffice-3.6.0.4/work/libreoffice-core-3.6.0.4
# export VALGRIND=memcheck
# export LC_ALL=C
# make tail_build

==22062==  If you believe this happened as a result of a stack
==22062==  overflow in your program's main thread (unlikely but
==22062==  possible), you can try to increase the size of the
==22062==  main thread stack using the --main-stacksize= flag.
==22062==  The main thread stack size used in this run was 8388608.

So... is this a problem with my system or with the LO build system?

Note: I had to drop the patch at bug #430670 into /etc/portage/patches/app-office/libreoffice to circumvent another build failure.
