Seem to be unable to install/upgrade Amarok with USE=cdda, because it depends on both kde-base/kdemultimedia-kioslaves and kde-base/libkcddb which block each other. All ~.
Can that be? Am I getting something wrong?
Thx & cheers
Daniel

Try emerge -1 audiocd-kio and then install amarok. _________________ BTW, TWM FTW! |

kdemultimedia-kioslaves was discontinued in kde-4.9.0 and amarok builds either against that old package or audiocd-kio. When upgrading to kde-4.9.0 that needs some care, unmerging kdemultimedia-kioslaves should suffice. _________________ backend.cpp:92:2: warning: #warning TODO - this error message is about as useful as a cooling unit in the arctic |

Thx guys, that did the trick. But at least an einfo to point users in this direction would be great, though.
Cheers,
D. |
