Hi everyone,

I've got a bit of a weird (or maybe not) setup at home. Here comes the ASCII art:

|---screen two (laptop)---| |-----screen one (desktop)----| |----screen two (desktop)----|

|------screen one (laptop - this should be below Screen 1 Desktop, but I can't seem to get it centered...)-----|

As it is right now, I've got really inconsistent/annoying movement with the screens, and it only *really* works from the primary (aka screen one) for each device with the exception of 'up' on screen two (laptop)

Desktop left goes to S1(L)
Desktop down goes to S2(L)
Laptop up on S1 goes to D2
Laptop up on S2 goes to D1
etc

Is there any way to fix this so it only works like this (IE no right on S1(L) and no up on S2(L):

Right from S2(L) -> S1(D)
Up from S1(L) -> S1(D)

Let me know if that made sense :)

Thanks!

Not sure if I can be of help, I have 4 monitors 2 pc's + (laptop that I have not tried in a while)

my setup is simple pc 1 below pc 2.

What does your synergy.conf look like?

Here is mine, excuse the unedited comments:
Code:
 $ cat /etc/synergy.conf
# sample synergy configuration file
#
# comments begin with the # character and continue to the end of
# line.  comments may appear anywhere the syntax permits.

section: screens
        # three hosts named:  moe, larry, and curly
        janus:
        klingon:
        toshiba:
end

section: links
        # larry is to the right of moe and curly is above moe
        janus:
                up   = klingon
                left = toshiba

        # moe is to the left of larry and curly is above larry.
        # note that curly is above both moe and larry and moe
        # and larry have a symmetric connection (they're in
        # opposite directions of each other).
        klingon:
                down  = janus

        # larry is below curly.  if you move up from moe and then
        # down, you'll end up on larry.
        toshiba:
                right  = janus
end

##section: aliases
        # curly is also known as shemp
##      curly:
##              shemp
##end
