I was upgrading,and as always something broke.This time it was blender, from alice overlay spitting out Code: | /usr/bin/blender-bin-2.6: error while loading shared libraries: libboost_filesystem-mt-1_46.so.1.46.1: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory |
I tried changing to blender from aluco overlay. but got same error.

Stupid question but why don't you use portage's blender ?
Had no trouble with it... yet. _________________

* GNU info directory index is up-to-date.
* IMPORTANT: 2 news items need reading for repository 'gentoo'.
* Use eselect news to read news items.
* Portage could not find any version of the following packages it could build:
* media-libs/openimageio | :0
* (Perhaps they are masked, blocked, or removed from portage.)
* Try to emerge them manually.
* Build finished correctly. Removing temporary files...
* You can re-run revdep-rebuild to verify that all libraries and binaries
* are fixed. Possible reasons for remaining inconsistencies include:
* orphaned files
* deep dependencies
* packages installed outside of portage's control
* specially-evaluated libraries |
