Hi dudes,

I think i have messed up all my permissions... ;)

When I try to use my user account sciack for emerging, like this:

Code:
emerge -s gnome

It says a weird thing...

Quote:
emerge: your system doesn't have a "wheel" group.
Please fix this so that Portage can operate correctly (It's normally GID 10)

But that's a lie, I can prove it:

Code:
/etc/passwd :
..
..
sciack:x:406:100:the sciack:/home/sciack:/bin/bash
..
..

And more...

Code:
/etc/group :
wheel::10:root,sciack

... dude.. In the meanwhile I am writing.. I have fixed it.. but I think it may help someone... who knows...

Code:

-rw-------    1 root     root          676 07-23 14:52 /etc/group
-rw-r--r--    1 root     root          706 07-06 12:14 /etc/group.bak

Dont kill me.. i am a stupid!

buh bye
