Why is /dev/sda2 listed twice?

cat /proc/mounts

/dev/sda2 /var ext4 rw,noatime,data=ordered 0 0
/dev/sda2 /var ext4 rw,noatime,data=ordered 0 0

Perhaps it is mounted twice. Note that broken tools like systemd ignore the "noauto" entry in /etc/fstab
