gpg signed messages on News & Announcements forums

take https://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic.php?t=88566 for example:

I copy all from -----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- to
----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
into a seperate file

gpg --verify filename
gives:

gpg: Signature made Tue 23 Sep 2003 20:25:37 GMT using DSA key ID 1529A193
gpg: BAD signature from "Daniel Ahlberg <aliz@gentoo.org>"

now is this because im copying it incorrectly or because the forums are destroying the msg as it is posted? (deleting spaces etc)

I take that it is something with my copy-paste. If you want the correct GLSAs, it is better to subscribe to gentoo-announces or gentoo-security.
