On my new laptop, my display is 2560 x 1440 resolution. In Windows, I can read the text with that resolution. In Linux in the console, the text is tiny and almost impossible to read.
For the same 2560 x 1440 resolution, why it the text readable in Windows but to tiny on the linux console? How do I fix this without decreasing the resolution in Linux? _________________
Checkout #grandmasboy on freenode...chat with jayP bot from the movie!
|

The linux console is a simple framebuffer which utilizes fixed-size fonts. Windows is a full-blown graphical environment. That's why.
There's just one solution - get a bigger font. |
