Now that the US disallows freedom and is slipping into 1984-land, vast hordes of Americans will now leave the land of the broad stripes and bright stars.
Looking down the heritage index of countries that have greater 'economic freedom' than the US gives a number of interesting choices.
http://www.heritage.org/index/ranking
Note that, in some way or another, all these countries offer some kind of government intervention in the healthcare sector. _________________ Jesus Could Be Their Candidate and the Republicans Would Still Lose

And personally, I'd prefer to be able to communicate, so English is also a requirement. _________________ lolgov. 'cause where we're going, you don't have civil liberties.

That leaves you with Australia, New Zealand, Canada and Ireland (when they're speaking English). _________________ What looks like a cat, flies like a bat, brays like a donkey, and plays like a monkey? |

hmmmm
so, when there's a right-wing president, there's a flood of lefties that go to Canada for the socialism, and when there's a left-wing president, there's a flood of free marketers that flee to Canada for the economic freedom? _________________ Jesus Could Be Their Candidate and the Republicans Would Still Lose |

In addition to not giving monarchy the boot... | Quote: | | Australia introduced universal health care in 1975.[266] Known as Medicare it is now nominally funded by an income tax surcharge known as the Medicare levy, currently set at 1.5 per cent.[267] The states manage hospitals and attached outpatient services, while the Commonwealth funds the Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme (reducing the costs of medicines) and general practice. |

please tell me why this is bad, considering that:
Australians spend less on health care than americans
Austrialians have a higher life expectancy. _________________

Is not required to reduce healthcare costs.
Is not related to life expectancy.

really? so why beat all countries with health care systems beat out those who don't have one?
Germany has one for 140 years - so much about 'affordable' and 'sustainable'. Necessary? Only if you don't want to pay more for less service.
Again, the USA pay MORE then every other country for LESS. That pretty much debases everything you just wrote. _________________

Our government has been bloated for a very long time. Healthcare is just an additional burden and unrelated to whether or not bloated government is affordable and unsustainable.

What is that called, causation without correlation, or correlation without causation? Something like that. At any rate, your claim that it debases what I wrote is bogus. _________________ lolgov. not any more than any of your claims - because none of them are based on reality. _________________
