Hi everyone, since I'm using btrfs on my Intel SSD 520 serie, I noticed that my btrfs lock my filesystem when I run emerge -C commands.
It's really weird, because when it happends, it's like my PC freeze.
Also, when I do some snapshots of my subvolume, it can takes from 10 secondes to 10 minutes to run even if it's only a subvolume of 4 gigs.
Right now , I'm using this :
Code: |
/dev/sda4 / btrfs defaults,noatime,ssd,discard,compress=lzo,subvol=@racine 0 1
|
Should I use EXT4 instead or is there any performance monitor that I could use to test my current filesytem ? Thanks
Finally, if I want to migrate to ext4,can I use these options ?
Code: |
/dev/sda4 / ext4 defaults,data=ordered,noatime, 0 1
|
Thanks |
