That's what lafilefixer would do automatically, edit the files. |
No, lafilefixer would have no idea the library name changed from libpng14 to libpng15.
So let me reiterate: The news item was released *because* lafilefixer doesn't handle this type of issues. |

That's weird, because I'm quite sure I used it. What does lafilefixer do then? |

Moved from Portage & Programming to Duplicate Threads in favor of the rather ancient libpng-1.5.x entered stable - upgrade tips. Somebody hasn't been updating often enough.
