Problema con el idioma en Firefox (Solucionado)

Saludos amigos, tengo un problema con firefox desde la version 10 en adelante que a pesar de tener las locales bien configuradas me sigue apareciendo en ingles, se que es un tema viejo en este forums pero he intentado muchas cosas q dicen en hilos anteriores referentes a este caso pero no he conseguido aun solucion. aqui dejo algunos datos datos, les agradezco su colaboracion:

-------------Solucion-------------

Bueno les comento que el problema tenia que ver con el perfil de firefox la cual tenia el perfil por defecto por lo que abri el administrador de perfiles en firefox ($ firefox -p) y cree uno nuevo, luego ejecute de nuevo firefox con el nuevo perfil seleccionado y ya todo estaba en español!!, claro es recomendable hacer una copia de seguridad selectiva de los datos para despues importarlos al nuevo perfil yo en mi caso use la extencion FEBE para hacer el respaldo.

hay una manera tambien de pasarlo al español instalado el archivo xpi del proyecto NAVE el cual te permite pasar tu firefox a cualquier idioma:
para español y la version 12.0 espesifica es:
ftp://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/releases/12.0/linux-i686/xpi/es-ES.xpi
