What happened to klamd?

klamd used to be in Portege. Did something replace it? Looking for an on access AV scanner to plug into clamav.

and if it really only runs on kde-3, kde-3 has for a long while been gone from portage. There is an overlay for kde3 stuff, and that may actually have klamav (i dont know), but with the disappearance of kde-3 id expect apps that only work on kde-3 to disappear as well
