Eog doesn't display vertical jpeg

Hi,

i have a problem with eog, that seems to have appeared with version 3.4 (but not sure, and when downgrading, eog doesn't start with the following error in ~/.xsession-errors : "(eog:13448): GLib-GIO-CRITICAL **: GDBus.Error:org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.NoReply: Message did not receive a reply (timeout by message bus)")

Anyway, the problem is that photos taken with my Nikon D40 are not correctly displayed when in vertical orientation : only the bottom third or so is displayed. When I rotate the image, it displays well.
However, images shot with my Panasonic P&S display well in both orientation.

The problem is, there is no error showing, or at least I don't know where to look for ?
I have recently changed to libjpeg-turbo, but it didn't change the result either.

Has anyone any idea on where to look to find a solution ?
