Hey everyone

I am getting some crazy errors while running revdep-rebuild -i after I updated the system. Here are the errors:

Code:

Does anyone know where I can find the correct packages that will contain the files I need to fix these broken deps?

I had ran the update a few days ago and Ive been getting the error ever since. Now when I attempted to redo the update just now, I received the following error:

Code:
 # emerge -av --deep --update --newuse world

These are the packages that would be merged, in order:

Calculating dependencies \Bus error

Is my system doomed?

xsilentmurmurx,

Those files all belong to vmware.

What vmware product did you install and how did you install it?

From the messages, I suspect you got a package from the vmware website and used its installer.
As a result, portage can tell the files are both present and broken but as it did not install the files cannot help you fix them, since it has no record of where they came from.
