Didn't think much of the first episode that I saw (no idea which it was), but got more interesting as it went along.

EDIT: Tonight's was pretty good.

Ohhhhh. And next week, the rogue goes double-rogue!

Seems to have decent writing. Relies a lot on the modern day 'super hero', but they do put him into situations dangerous even for him. Maybe a little too often, since there's always someone there to get him out of the situation 'just in time.'

Yep, Reese sometimes is too much like a super soldat which nothing can happen.

Among the episodes I've seen, it was pretty high on the list of the 'best'. I should figure out where I started watching.

Also, I figured out why this guy is so invincible. He's Jesus!

Tonight's was a good episode. Better treatment of 'rogue goes rogue' than I expected.

Next week's looks to be of interest.

I agree, I just finished of watching it. At the beginning, I thought the woman they were helping was the old "friend" of Reese, from the CIA (the woman we saw at the end of the previous episode).
Also, I really thought Reese was going to kill the man, not bring him in a prison with a huge amount of cocaine...

I think I'd be happy next week.

EDIT: Possible spoiler ahead (but probably only if you knew which episode).

Yeah. I also find it funny that framing the guy with a "ton" of coke and landing him in a foreign prison is a moral improvement over killing him. Seems more harsh.

So, it seems I'm a little late for this thread. The season finale was absolutely awesome, don't you think ?

EDIT: Possible spoiler ahead.

It was pretty good. I was most surprised they killed the Alicia character. The one who had been following them and was killed near the end of the episode in Finch's car.

I also think it is interesting that the Alicia character was involved during the building of the machine, but she was recording Finch & Reese as if she didn't know about it.

Should make for a good season opener.

Last night was #12, Legacy. Also good.

Research, Control. Done much better than I would've expected. I had a feeling they would introduce something like that. It was starting to go a little stale (not much, just a little). Seems timed well.

I'm just watching the pilot. The first scene in which he beats down the yuppie crew is very awesome :)

Over all I'd say it is pretty good, despite being a little formulaic. At least for me, it seems to do a decent job of timing arcs. When something starts to get a little stale, they tie it up and/or introduce something else.

It's survived almost intact into the 2nd season, something that Bad Robot shows (JJ Abrams) don't seem to do too well. I think the reason for that here is there is almost zero chance of there being a parallel universe subplot on this show that threatens to ruin the suspension of disbelief.

I'd say it's probably the best Network drama at the moment.

:rotflmao:

Don't underestimate the power of stupid.* It and The Following are the only ones worth watching IMO.

* Possible SPOILER ALERT:

In the last episode, they comment how nobody was really in control of the new recruit's former agency.

No, because it's "The Machine".

I really love the show! Altough I guess we don't have to discuss all the unrealistic stuff like the machine, or do we? Does someone believe we are able to build at least a "smaller version" of this machine?

but anyway, great show, and moreover I think I'm in love with Amy Acker
My god, I've seen her first in "Alias" but now I know she is the most beautiful woman in the world!! I'm at Season 2 episode 4 and I really hope she accieves her goal :)

She's fine, except when she turns suddenly and her pointy nose knocks everything off shelves in supermarkets.

Pretty good season finale (so far anyway).

The only part I didn't care for was the very end. I'd kind of hoped that arc ran its course (among the more weak ones they've done IMO). Mainly I'm skeptical they won't make it worse. So far they've done a good job, but then so did Pixar, until they didn't :D

I saw that JJ Abrams is now a producer for the show. I liked it so far, but now I fear
he and his talentless writer-buddies are going to ruin it like they ruined Alias and Lost...
