I have small box (Intel Atom CPU 330 1.60GHz - 4-core CPU) that is freezing too often.
The box is located in a remote location, is there a way to restart the "frozen" remote box? |

If it is still able to hear ssh, Code: | ssh root@<ip> reboot | should do it.
If you don't want to allow remote root log in, you should be able to configure sudo to accept a reboot command from a user without a password. _________________ First things first, but not necessarily in that order.
Apologies if I take a while to respond. I'm currently working on the dematerialization circuit for my blue box. |

if you built your kernel with watchdog timer support, you might look into sys-apps/watchdog
im not generally a fan of a system deciding to autonomously reboot, but it may do the job for you _________________ Lost configuring your system?

Thanks for feedback.
I'm trying to figure it out if the problem is power supply or the computer.
This box has an Intel D945GCLF2 motherboard and an external power supply/convert 120V to 5V DC and the problem I have is that when the power goes out and come back the computer does not wake up, it has to be manually restarted.
So I connected it to UPS unit and will monitor if for a while. |

Yes, that BIOS have that option but something on Motherboad is missing and I'm out of luck on this unit. I'm testing it with UPS so see if it is the system or the external power converter that is failing. |
