What's going on with this?
Quote: | snd_pcm_avail_update() returned a value that is exceptionally large: 1271264 bytes (6621 ms).
Most likely this is a bug in the ALSA driver. Please report this issue to the ALSA developers.

setup:
pure alsa drivers (I evicted OSS completely during my latest genkernel run)
dmix is slave of !default in /etc/asound.conf, with not adding uid, and ipc perms 666
Also, the buffer and period sizes are well under 1MiB, being 64KiB for the buffer and 4KiB for the period.
Skype works fine by itself if nothing else is playing though.
Skype, y u no share? |
