Context applets in Amarok gone in KDE 4.8.1

Hello,

after KDE 4.8.1 going stable this week I lost the context applets in Amarok 2.4.3-r1. I already tried revdep-rebuild and re-emerged Amarok but it didn't fix the problem.

I also tried to remove all Amarok config files in ~/.kde/share/config but it didn't help, I still don't see the applets.

They are still there, e.g. I still see the lrics or when Amarok doesn't find the lyrics for a title it still shows the Wikipedia applet. But I can't select or configure the applets anymore.

Has anybody else seen (and fixed) this problem?

got the same problem.... though my context frame is completely blank, except the wrench on the bottom - left.

But nothing happens when i click on it.

Any ideas?

(deleting ~.kde/share/apps/amarok doesnt help ...)

Deleting ~/.kde/share/config/amarok-appletsrc did it
