I am looking at the VIA 875 motherboard (http://apc.io/).
I think I might enjoy of porting linux to this board. This is an ARM motherboard, so I will have to learn more about cross-compiling, init scripts, etc.....
My question is how current are the linux drivers when the primary target is Android. I do plan on looking through menuconfig on a recent kernel to answer the questions about specific availability, but I am trying to understand the relationship/differences between the Andriod kernel and the Linux Kernel.
Any help would be appreciated. |
