need help creating working cinit configuration

Hey guys,

I'm currently working on getting cinit to work in my notebook. I'm stuck at getting udev to work, so I would appreciate any information you can provide on the process of starting udev and getting all the devices in /dev. I could not find anything on that subject using google...

Also, if you are already using cinit on gentoo, could you please send me you config so I can start from that? The one in the cinit documentation only gets me as far as the rescue console.
