Old news.
The 'girl' was also an adult woman back then. So legally everything ok.
Add that back then treating women like shit was the norm and infidelity not a big problem as long as it was the man who did the cheating and as long as he was filthy rich.
So... from the POV of a 1950s/1960 powerful man he acted all normal.
