So seven (I think) servicemembers came out onto the field just now with "the colors". One on each end with a rifle, and four in the center with the flags of the various branches, and then one on the end of them with the National Ensign (American flag).

So here's what happened:

"Forward, MARCH!" (the detail marched out onto the field)
"Mark Time!" (the detail stops moving and marches in place)
"Detail, HALT!" (the detail stops marching in place and comes to attention)
"Present, ARMS!" (the entire detail presents arms...except for the idiot Soldier with the American flag who just stood there)

GO ARMY!

During presentation of the colors, the flags other than the U.S. flag are dipped in respect to the national flag.
