Does anyone know much about Cedar Trail processors?
I am looking at this
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813153236
I want something low powered and powerful. I plan to use this to capture video. Just a fun project.
Does Cedar Trail support the standard atom architecture? Does this one use the Trigate transistor? Is their much support for GPU encoding/decoding with the board through linux? |

I looked up some info.
That Video card is a PowerVR 545 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PowerVR#Series_5_.28SGX.29
VA-API supports off load to that GPU.
Problem is most GPU state if it can decode or encode and how much, for example the Nvidia ION can do 1080P60 h.264 encode and decode.
Is their anyway to find out how much the PowerVR can decode or encode? |
