Canadians can be decidedly unprogressive. Philippe Rushton is a professor at the university of western ontario who studies race, crime, intellegence etc. A lot of articles regarding blacks and intelligence etc are by him. |

He is assuming that closed minded = conservative, which is incorrect.
You are assuming, as does the "study", apparently, that conservative = social conservative, which is also incorrect.
In reality, "conservatives" include economic libertarians, who are the entrepreneurs and risk-takers.
Also, the reason one of these nonsensical studies comes out every couple of years is because professors live on the public dole. I've looked at several in depth in the past, and they each fell apart under scrutiny.

Fist off 90% of yahoo news is retarded. Every time I see something on yahoo news about technology makes me want to email them and ask, which 8 year old wrote this.
Second racist != prejudice
Example "I hate this race and I will never speak to them!" = racist
Example 2 "Statistically speaking this race is know to attribute X behavior, I will plan ahead for this in case this scenario happens." = prejudice
Nothing wrong with prejudice.

Naturally. And if it were false, there would be a lot of stupid liberals believing it (the ones with inadequate education or experience in rigorous analysis of experimental data, for example, which is about 99.9% of people, including the majority of PhDs, in my experience).
Besides, despite what you may think, I'm not a conservative. I'm actually very slightly left of center and both socially and economically libertarian (according to Political Compass).
