If they have credible evidence of the Bryan person, then yes, association can be a bitch. But if you aren't involved, it will likely come out. Chances are the person will be released.

If he had just grabbed some food they probably would have let him. He probably sat over in the corner, and they thought, "He doesn't seem too eager to have any, and I haven't eaten since yesterday, so I'm taking this." Sometimes you have to assert yourself.
Those other guys were in enough trouble already. They didn't need to be beating anybody up on film, before even getting to see the judge.

Yeah, perhaps he is a Beta male. Perhaps he could have eaten his own meal. Perhaps he is an Alpha male that was so horribly traumatized by the recent set of events that he was dissociated to the degree that he really didn't feel like being the least bit "aggressive" was a wise move given his circumstances. It just seems like a bit of an oversimplification, besides when was the last time any surveillance footage from inside a cell was used to protect the inhabitants?!?! Such footage is fairly typically only used to defend the guards.
In all likelihood and probability I think you are right though, that he is a Beta male, but it still seems to me that there are MANY more compelling, interesting, and far-reaching angles of this story to cover.

If being slightly more concerned about real issues instead of a single stupid shitty meal served in a cell qualifies someone as a "Beta male" then sign me up.
Personally I'd say your obsession with labeling is based in insecurity, but I'm really not here to talk about that. I am here in this thread to talk about the actual ramifications of the news story beyond the scope of the two people it has already impacted.

Well, I'm not sure how much more there was to discuss on the original topic. A-hole blabbers about destroying America and digging up Marylin Monroe's grave, while enroute America., and learns not to do that.
I had a friend once say, "Yeah, I got a bomb in my carry-on." just before going through the security checkpoint in tiny Midland-Saginaw International Airport (through which he was a regular traveler) and he had an airport security guard and a Sheriff's Deputy on him with guns drawn ten seconds later. They took him away in handcuffs, and it ruined his weekend. And that was in 1998, well before any 9/11 nonsense, and he wasn't even traveling internationally.
