We'll just keep this between us though. |
so what? if Greece flunders, what happens? Really?
Nothing at all. Oh, there will be some panic here and there and the media will love it. but deep down? The banks have already prepared for the worst and while the debt sounds huge in % it is not that big in total numbers. 300 billions debt and Eurozone had no problem to give them 110 billions. So... the whole thing is completely blown out of proportion.
To put it into perspective:
Greece some 300 billions in debt
Deutsche Bank (a not very big bank) 1850 billions balance sheet total.
Greece only has two problems:
fucked up fiscal system unable to collect taxes
fucked up pension system where even daughters of officials get life long pensions.
a bankrupcy would be a clean start. If some of the incompetent unions get swept away, that entitlement mentally drowned in the sea, that wouldn't be bad at all _________________

Oh, sorry. Did I just say Greece? I should have said Portugal, Spain, Ireland, Italy and Greece. Along with the other group of nine. _________________

and are Spain, Portugal, Ireland, Italy doing so badly if you stop reading bullshit and start looking at the real numbers? Especially compared to USA, UK, Japan or China? _________________

Actually Italian debt went down from 122% of GDP to 119% in the last quarter and is still sinking while Spains rised to 66% from 58% one year ago and is still raising, Portugal raised to 110% from 106% in the last quarter, I think also Ireland is slowly recovering.
Growth is still been worked on
The best option probably is let Greece default .... _________________ Truck!!
