I'm not sure where else go for support for this other than sending emails to random people on the developer list on Sourceforge. There's no forum, bugs tracking, or similar errors from other users based on my attempts to find them on google. If someone could please try to help me out I would greatly appreciate it. The project is:
http://sourceforge.net/projects/megatunix/
There's even ebuild attempts in bugzilla back from 2005, and also an ebuild in portage overlay for the latest release along with a 9999 version which I'm guessing pulls from cvs:
http://gpo.zugaina.org/app-misc/megatunix/euscan
I tried both, including downloading and manually compiling the package from the sourceforge project page. All versions and attempts result with this same error:

G_CONST_RETURN is deprecated in newer glib version (I noticed it with 2.30.2).
So the code using it must either avoid it or undefine G_DISABLE_DEPRECATED upon compilation as a workaround. |
