|

Hi, I would like to program an AVR mega 2560 (Arduino). For that I need a working avr gcc toolchain. This doesn't seem easy to install because of some bugs. I found this bug on the gcc site -> http://gcc.gnu.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=45263
I am using x86_64-pc-linux-gnu-4.5.3. I assume that this version of gcc is not patched? Are there any ways to install a working avr gcc toolchain on Gentoo? I do not want to switch to an unstable gcc version. Is there anyone using a recent version of Arduino on Gentoo? Care to explain to me how to get this working? _________________ Cuore Sportivo |

zombi "thread", but still an actual problem.
after trying to get avr-gcc working for an hour i've now decided to program with windows. because thats what i want: program the avr's, not fiddling with the tools that should simply work and aid me. |
