Are there Gentoo profiles for AMD64 that are newer than 'default/linux/amd64/10.0'?

I originally installed my Gentoo off of the 10.0 LiveCD -- a stage 3 install. I have been syncing and emerging frequently (daily) ever since my initial installation two years ago, and everything's been working fine. But I notice there have been a few LiveDVD versions since released, the current one being 11.2. I'm wondering if there are newer Gentoo profiles for AMD64, but that I'm simply not seeing them.

This is my current profile:

Code:

root ~ # eselect profile show
Current /etc/make.profile symlink:
  default/linux/amd64/10.0/desktop

These are the profiles that my installation says are available:

Code:

root ~ # eselect profile list
Available profile symlink targets:
  [1]   default/linux/amd64/10.0
  [2]   default/linux/amd64/10.0/desktop *
  [3]   default/linux/amd64/10.0/desktop/gnome
  [4]   default/linux/amd64/10.0/desktop/kde
  [5]   default/linux/amd64/10.0/developer
  [6]   default/linux/amd64/10.0/no-multilib
  [7]   default/linux/amd64/10.0/server
  [8]   hardened/linux/amd64
  [9]   hardened/linux/amd64/selinux
  [10]  hardened/linux/amd64/no-multilib
  [11]  hardened/linux/amd64/no-multilib/selinux

Are there any newer profiles, available on newer LiveDisc installs, that I am not seeing on my current installation? I get the feeling that I'm only seeing what's locally available on my installation, as opposed to what's currently available out there. I haven't been able to find anywhere online what the latest profiles are, so I don't know if they exist.

I want to make sure my installation doesn't fall too far behind, but I would like to avoid re-installing from scratch.

Don't worry. Profiles are not updated very often. When a new profile is made it will remain in a testing phase for some time to get the bugs worked out for the various arch's. When it is ready for mass use by everyone there will be a news item released that will inform you when ever you use the emerge command. There will also be various forum threads talking about it. So unless you don't sync or have a look at the forums, etc. for a long time, it will be very unlikely for you to miss it.

[forgot] : the livedvd's numbering does not directly reflect the current profile. It started with 10.0 to match the 10th anniversary, but since then the numbering changes reflect different releases with changes in the pkgs that it contains, etc..
