I am wondering if openrc just dislikes a world where the things it needs are on different physical partitions. As I mentioned, my /var is on its own partition. So is my /tmp, and I get errors like this:
Code:
* Unmounting filesystems
* Unmounting /tmp ...
* in use but fuser finds nothing

The recent upgrade to 0.9.8.1 fixed the log file warning, but I still get the /tmp warning.

I only get the /tmp warning when I shutdown from gnome. If I'm doing work on the console and X is not running I do not get this error.
