Code:

/usr/lib/gcc/i686-pc-linux-gnu/4.5.3/../../../../i686-pc-linux-gnu/bin/ld: cannot find -lpng14

As you can see:
Code:
/usr/lib/gcc/i686-pc-linux-gnu/4.5.3/../../../../i686-pc-linux-gnu/bin/ld: cannot find -lpng14

I have:
Code:
meee ~ # eix -I libpng
[I] media-libs/libpng
     Available versions:
   (1.2)   1.2.46
   (0)   1.4.8-r1 1.5.5
   (1.4)   ~1.4.8-r2
   {apng static-libs}
     Installed versions:  1.5.5(12:03:52 10/31/11)(apng static-libs)
     Homepage:            http://www.libpng.org/
     Description:         Portable Network Graphics library

Should I downgrade png to 1.4.8-r2, but as far as I remember I need 1.5.5 for something else.

Anybody know how to solve this issue?

http://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic-t-899690-highlight-gnomesettingsdaemon.html
http://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic-t-898630-highlight-gnomesettingsdaemon.html

And this one and all of those 3 are duplicate threads of

http://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic-t-894950-start-75.html (First post has solution)

People really don't seem to search at all before opening new threads in forums :-(
