when i run emerge --update world it gives me following error:
!!! Error: couldn't find match for : in net-www/mozilla-1.0-r3
how can i fix this? |

emerge --clean rsync
|
and doing then doing the emerge update. |

| I think that an older version of portage had similar issues. What version is your portage? |

how can i get that information?
i checked sys-apps/portage and
did emerge --pretend portage and it gives me:
[U] sys-apps/portage-2.0.13.
i didn't find a word about how to get portage version from (portage manual) so how do i get it? |

man emerge didin't show that switch at all |
