Can't Start New Topic [Solved]

I have been trying to start a new topic/thread but every time I clicked the "new topics" button I couldn't get any message box. What went wrong? Can anyone help me here?

Try clearing your browser cache and recent history. What browser? What version? What OS?

Ok it's firefox on gentoo linux. I really didn't want to clear the browser cache/history, but after I did that, the new message box started to work again. Not sure if this is something peculiar to this forum site.

For me, similar things happen with Firefox, primarily with this site. But I don't really do much with forum software elsewhere.
