Hi. where do I fetch a recent Prefix Portage Tree?
My old Prefix has an empty $PORTDIR and I can't synchronize. Is there any tar ball available with a recent snapshot? I look around, where it was located some time ago, but could not find it: http://gentoo.osuosl.org/experimental/
Code:
# emerge --sync
!!! Section 'gentoo_prefix' in repos.conf refers to repository without repository name set in '/home/mo/gentoo/usr/portage/profiles/repo_name'
!!! main-repo not set in DEFAULT and PORTDIR is empty.
Unavailable repository 'gentoo_prefix' referenced by masters entry in '/home/mo/gentoo/usr/local/portage/metadata/layout.conf'

 * An update to portage is available. It is _highly_ recommended
 * that you update portage now, before any other packages are updated.

 * To update portage, run 'emerge --oneshot portage' now.

# rm  $EPREFIX/usr/local/portage/metadata/layout.conf

# emerge --sync
!!! Section 'gentoo_prefix' in repos.conf refers to repository without repository name set in '/home/mo/gentoo/usr/portage/profiles/repo_name'
!!! main-repo not set in DEFAULT and PORTDIR is empty.

!!! /home/mo/gentoo/etc/make.profile is not a symlink and will probably prevent most merges.
!!! It should point into a profile within /profiles/
!!! (You can safely ignore this message when syncing. It's harmless.)

!!! Your current profile is invalid. If you have just changed your profile
!!! configuration, you should revert back to the previous configuration.
!!! Allowed actions are limited to --help, --info, --search, --sync, and
!!! --version.
Even 'portageq envvar PORTDIR' fails with that error. There is $EPREFIX/usr/share/portage/config/repos.conf with main-repo = gentoo_prefix.
Since I can only sync via http, those tools are failing as well:
Code:
# emerge-webrsync
/home/mo/gentoo/usr/bin/emerge-webrsync: line 233: syntax error near unexpected token `('
/home/mo/gentoo/usr/bin/emerge-webrsync: line 233: `         eecho "tarsync failed; tarball is corrupt? (${file})"'

# emerge-delta-webrsync
!!! Section 'gentoo_prefix' in repos.conf refers to repository without repository name set in '/home/mo/gentoo/usr/portage/profiles/repo_name'
!!! main-repo not set in DEFAULT and PORTDIR is empty.

mkdir: cannot create directory ‘’: No such file or directory
emerge-delta-webrsync: error: PORTDIR is not writable:

$ ls -l ~/gentoo/usr/portage
total 4
drwxr-x--- 2 mo int 4096 Mar 27 12:55 test
