All right, it's that time of the week again. I'm having Blue Moon's Winter Abbey Ale seasonal special this weekend.
What is it for everyone else? |

LONDON?! |
| Quote: |
London gin - London gin is obtained exclusively from ethyl alcohol of agricultural origin with a maximum methanol content of 5 grams per hectolitre of 100% ABV equivalent, whose flavour is introduced exclusively through the re-distillation in traditional stills of ethyl alcohol in the presence of all the natural plant materials used, the resultant distillate of which is at least 70% ABV. London gin may not contain added sweetening exceeding 0.1 gram of sugars per litre of the final product, nor colorants, nor any added ingredients other than water. The term London gin may be supplemented by the term "dry". |

i've had lots of guinness all over the US and all over Ireland ( except the northenest parts ) and heres the deal; it all tastes the same me and i pay attention to it. i did get scolded in a small pub in a small village outside of Cork because i got restless while they let the guinness rest for 10 minutes ( literally ) before finishing the pour. i went to grab it and got told to do otherwise
afaik all guinness comes from the guinness brewery in dublin and its not brewed by like US based breweries for sale with the US ( like some major brewerys license out their recipes ). so you are always getting guinness brewed based on water and other ingredients sources in and around dublin. and beer in a keg is beer in keg. |

1x Bell's - Midwest Pale Ale.
1x Frankenmuth Brewery - Munich Style Dunkel Lager
Done for the weekend though.
Can someone recommend a decent bourbon that I can get for a reasonable price...$20-$30 for 750ml?
I've had Four Roses Small batch and that was tasty. I don't really know enough about bourbon to say what I like and don't like. _________________ Yo momma's so classless she's a Marxist utopia!

that's what the irish say, but don't believe them. I have only been to ireland once, but had a bunch of guinness (because that is pretty much all you can get in ireland). It tastes the same.
I like stout, and don't mind guiness. I just found a bunch i like better. London has some good ones (meantime is my favourite. at you John-Boy as the only other brit here, if you are interested). I found a few i liked in the US. On the NE coast, I found the IPA best. |
