Bought the DVD because of Peart's drum solo. | Great solo & I love the jazz finish (solo only http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wtx8Dmo_W-Q).
I really like the one in A Show of Hands. He's gained some endurance since then. I took that CD / solo to "test drive" the sound system in a Cobra. I turned it down when people started looking. :D Oh, the system was really good. _________________ lolgov. 'cause where we're going, you don't have civil liberties.

I may have to get me a Sinatra Greatest Hits collection. I don't recall having heard The Best Is Yet To Come. He's no Dean, but he's not all bad. _________________ lolgov. 'cause where we're going, you don't have civil liberties.

Hey Muso, the other day I caught my son dancing to the jazzy variation in Beethoven's arietta. I was one happy dad. _________________ Your argument is invalid. |

He has exquisite taste!
By the way, I think you'll appreciate this interpretation : Opus 111, played by Ivo Pogorelich.
The way he brings out the harmonic voices in the Arietta (from the 28 min mark) is divine.
Unfortunately I do not have him playing this on CD, but I do have this performance on DVD.
(Also, see if your son enjoys Bach's contrapunctus 2 from Die Kunst der Fuge. It shares that syncopated rhythm) _________________ If I had a dollar for every time capitalism was blamed for the problems caused by government, I'd be a fat filmmaker with a baseball cap |

Wow, some really nice and unique ideas there! Unique fingering, too. I agree with you about the harmony. _________________ Your argument is invalid. |
