I really like the one in A Show of Hands. He's gained some endurance since then. I took that CD / solo to "test drive" the sound system in a Cobra. I turned it down when people started looking. :D Oh, the system was really good.

He has exquisite taste!
By the way, I think you'll appreciate this interpretation : Opus 111, played by Ivo Pogorelich.
The way he brings out the harmonic voices in the Arietta (from the 28 min mark) is divine.
Unfortunately I do not have him playing this on CD, but I do have this performance on DVD.
(Also, see if your son enjoys Bach's contrapunctus 2 from Die Kunst der Fuge. It shares that syncopated rhythm)
