Schwanengesang

The most famous highlight = Ständchen

Liszt give the illusion of 3 hands near the end of this masterpiece.

Didn't he occasionally use his nose? Might be a myth, but I'm quite sure I heard that somewhere.

The Etudes of FFC.

Currently the beautiful, and slightly drunken, E minor.

Both very nice! Thanks for posting.

@Prenj: It has only been in the past few years that I have begun to appreciate the Talking Heads.

Yeah, it's bit disconnected, it sounds like a poor pop song, until it clicks, then it gets addictive :)

Talking heads is something that was on the radio as a kindergarten student. I used to dance around whenever they or Fine Young Cannibals came on and consequently their respective discographies are irrevocably melded together in my mind.

When I was in a stage band in high school, we actually played in front of Miles Davis. I played trumpet, and I got him to sign my hat. 8)

Most of the 80's music I listen to now and then is maybe sentimental value. Talking Heads and David Bowie's Let's Dance are examples of music that I think is still up there among the best.
