Götterdämmerung - Immolation Scene
Extraordinary music that leverages many, many themes from the preceding 16 hours of music, each dripping with meaning to the informed listener. No other music I am aware of can do this; it is totally unique. _________________ Your argument is invalid. |

Tori Amos - Beauty of speed
Although I listen to >90% to metal, Tori is just great. _________________ Kali Ma

Is it worth $330 to see Siegfried at SFO? _________________ Stand With Mittens |

Yes, it isn't.
What kind of question is that? If it is worth 330$ depends on so many things that to find an answer isn't really easy. _________________ Kali Ma

There is only one way to find out. Siegfried is a good opera. The final act, in particular, is arguably the best act of the Ring.* If you are well-to-do enough to spend $330 on an evening's entertainment, then go for it. But it is a gamble and you shouldn't gamble with money you can't afford to lose.
*After completing the second act of Siegfried, Wagner stopped working on the Ring for roughly 12 years. During this time he matured significantly as a composer. You'll notice this immediately in the third act of Siegfried. _________________ Your argument is invalid. |

The Peaking Goddess Collective - Secret Fire
Just bought their album "Organika" on iTunes, and am absolutely impressed with their sound. Pure psychedelic goodness. _________________ If I had a dollar for every time capitalism was blamed for the problems caused by government, I'd be a fat filmmaker with a baseball cap |

How long does such a Evanescence-type-fag-phase usually last? Can I expect to be ok within a few weeks?
Btw, has anybody watched the movie? Good movie. |

My Dying Bride - In Your Dark Pavilion http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=36AtSCm01UA&feature=related
Evinta consists of parts of old songs/melodies from the last 20 years turned into somphonic/operatic works. I definitely like this. Although that isn't what i normally listen to. _________________ If English was good enough for Jesus, then it's good enough for you! |

I should watch that again.
Edit: nm, I was thinking of the original Fantasia. I loved it as a kid, didn't know it was from 1940! _________________ Stand With Mittens |
