Unable to load boot loader on PPC

I tried using yaboot but I couldn't get my ibook to boot it. So I swapped over to bootcreator and still no luck. I'm thinking it might have something to do with my partitions, so I guess Ill just start by posting the output of mac-fdisk

/dev/hda

/dev/hda4 apple_unic_srv2 root linux native

when I reboot I get that g*y little icon with the mac finder symbol with a "?" over it

Let me know if any other output is needed

Did you reformat your drive?
What file system types are you using?
