Hello,
tinc-1.1_pre16-r1 worked ok with openssl-1.0.2q. After upgrading to openssl-1.0.2r (because of GLSA), tinc does not work anymore.
debug info:
tincd -n network -D -d1
...
error:060B4094:digital envelope routines:EVP_EncryptUpdate:invalid operation
...
after downgrading back to openssl-1.0.2q everything works ok again.
Can anybody please explain, or do something about it? Thank you. |

Welcome to gentoo forum!
Try net-vpn/tinc-1.1_pre17, see https://bugs.gentoo.org/679402 _________________ Questions are guaranteed in life; Answers aren't. |

Interesting, I really tried to find some info before I asked here, but neither google, nor search anywhere on gentoo.org did find the bug from your link.
Tinc-1.1_pre17 still requires a keyword, but works ok with openssl-1.0.2r.
Thank you for your welcome and for the answer. |
