During emerge upate, I got a new dependency which fails to build, gobject-introspection

Code:

libX11.a is not present only the shared object is in that place. I already run a revdep rebuild and python-updater.

emerge --info:

by removing certain packages, I was able to complete revdep-rebuild, afterwaads a new emerge -DuN world and a second revdep-rebuild cycle seem to have solved the problem.

I should correct that, it built fine, it just won't install because of that strage sandbox error.

THoughts?

Added this to my /etc/portage/package.mask:

>=app-emulation/emul-linux-x86-gtkmmlibs-20110129

The did a emerge -C emul-linux-x86-gtkmmlibs

Then did a revdep-rebuld
then redid emerge -uDp system and all is well now.

Cheers,
john
