Hi ALL,
I just bought a brand new Acer laptop. And I'm trying to install Gentoo on it.
However its failing to detect my network card.

Lspci shows:

Code:

Ethernet controller [0200]: Atheros Communication Device [1969:1083] (rev c0)

What driver do I need to load from and64 minimal installation cd?

Thank you.

Code:

DONAHUE,
That didn't bring up the interface after net-setup.
I am going to try atl1e and if that doesn't work will try with rescue CD.

Thank you.

DONATE,
I booted up from system rescue CD and the interface is working.
ifconfig shows an interface. The only problem will be to find the proper driver for kernel configuration.

Thank-you
