Hi. Thanks for reading. I just tried to change the default editor of ebuild from nano to vim. After some search I learned the best way to do this is to use

Quote:
eselect editor show/list/set

but I found that vim is not among the list

Quote:

Available targets for the EDITOR variable:
[1] /bin/nano
[2] /bin/ed
[3] /usr/bin/emacs
[4] /usr/bin/ex
[5] /usr/bin/vi
[ ] (free form)

Is it possible to add vim to this list? Thank you :)

Sure,
Select vi and then:
Code:
eselect vi set vim

edit: eselect editor set /usr/bin/vim
