|
|
Fiddling with keepass.
I want to keep my database on my ftp server so it's accessible.
Problem is, I can't seem to convince keepass to go via a proxy at my workplace.
Works just fine in windows at work.
Works just fine on a system that does not have to traverse a proxy, not at work.
I tried configuring the proxy in keepass, but no effect.
I am wondering if it's a setting in 'mono', somewhere.
Any suggestions on how I make the keepass app (a mono application) work via a proxy would be greatly appreciated. _________________ ...Lyall |

Just a question: We all know FTP protocol is not exactly very *secure*. Are you tunnelling the traffic,
or you are just not afraid of an attacker getting his hands on all your passwords?
To be frank, loosing my keepassx database to a third party would be my worst nightmare |

I wouldn't lose my passwords, they are in an encrypted database.
So I am unconcerned about whether FTP is secure or not, just that the damn thing works. _________________ ...Lyall |
