Sounds interesting as I've just had my first freeze after resuming . I put my laptop to sleep and I forgot to remove the USB drive that I had plugged in. I plugged the drive before I opened the lid but the laptop froze while I was typing my password into the screen saver dialog box. _________________ Gentoo addict: tomorrow I quit, I promise!... I have resumed multiple times with a "drive" inserted. It is actually a usb broadband stick, but it comes up in linux as a cd drive for some weird reason. (the broadband connection itself happens without any interaction with the linux system). Other than that, I have a usb logitech mouse receiver permanently occupying one usb slot. And it has always survived daily suspend-resume cycles (for more than a month at a stretch). _________________ emerge --quiet redefined | E17 vids: I, II |

I guess so. That was the only difference from the last times. I also have OpenGL screensavers and sometimes one of them is active while the computer wakes up, maybe that's just a coincidence. _________________ Gentoo addict: tomorrow I quit, I promise!... Just one more emerge...
