Sorry if this has been asked 1000 times but, on my first reboot off my hard drive, I'm stuck at waiting for uevents to be processed, I'm not sure what else I can add. I used genkernel all and defaulted most things. Ctrl-C doesn't free ir. Not sure where to take it from here.

systemd or openrc or ?
boot the live media, mount the gentoo partitions, | Code: | wgetpaste -t /var/log/dmesg
wgetpaste -t /var/log/rc.log
journalctl | wgetpaste -t # if systemd |
post the url's returned

Sorry I wasn't able to get back to this till now.
I went with openrc.
There is no dmesg or rc.log in /var/log. journalctl is empty.
After I've had some time to think about it, I need to mention one thing here.. The root file system is ext4. Genkernel mentioned that I may need to put rootfstype=ext4 on the kernel command line. Until I did that, the boot was throwing a lot of errors. I suppose I can tar the partition, change it to ext2 and run it back in, if that'll make a difference.
