Mozilla load times

PIII@500MhZ, 256MB RAM, Fluxbox and Mozilla 1 both compiled from source.

Loading Mozilla takes 10 seconds. (May not sound slow, but it sure feels like it.) Is this normal? How long does Moz take for you to load?

too long (2*PPro166/512 256MB SCSI-UW) Opera is much faster.

The first thing i would suspect is your hard drive. If you haven't used hdparm, give it a shot :wink:
