This sort of aggravates me... I liked fakeidentd because it allowed me to use IRC stuff on DALnet without actually letting people who are always pinging/fingering/identing me know anything about my system... What other options are there to provide a valid IDENT response for say IRC, but without giving any actual, true information?

Well, according to Gibson Research, my computer is 'stealth' on the internet. I use a linksys router/firewall.
