Hi
I am trying to find out what colour skin (not the feathers) the gentoo penguin has?
I found a couple of online quotes:
"Penguin skin is a pale creamy off white pink color."
"Humboldt Penguin
The skin of their face is pink and the beak is black. They have pink and black feet and reddish brown eyes.",
but nothing substantial about the gentoo or emperor penguins, perhaps someone knows a good site about penguin facts? |

thanks for the welcome avx
I looked at the link, although it didn't seem to have any details regarding the skin color, as distinct from the color of the plumage.
I found another site which has a picture of a gentoo's feet which are a creamy orangey color and quite different to the color of the feet of emperor penguins:

By contrast the emperor penguins have black scaley skin on their feet:

Although as in the case of the Humboldt penguin the color of the facial skin does not necessarily reflect the color of their feet. |
